Shipra Garg, M.D.
Shipra Garg M.D., is Board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. She completed a research Fellowship program in Dermathopathology at the University of Texas Soutwestern Medical Center, in Dallas, Texas, under world renowned Dermathopathologist Clay Cockerrell, M.D. Dr. Garg served as a research Fellow in the molecular cardiology program at University of California, at San Diego School of Medicine and also completed a one-year Fellowship in Pediatric Pathology. Her Residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology was completed at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Garg received her medical degree from the prestigious all women’s medical school, Lady Hardinge Medical College at the University of Delhi, in New Deli, India. Her two-year post graduate research focused on coagulation profile and platelet disorders in pre-eclamptic and eclamptic patients.
Dr. Garg enjoys her collaborative relationships with many hospital physcians, diagnosing a variety of cases on a daily basis. She is passionate about quality patient care and is committed to continued education, with particular interests in gynecologic, breast, and GU pathology, as well as non-gyn cytopathology.
